Best album of the noughties..Stunning.

I purchased this album purely by chance in Music Zone in Doncaster, some 12 months after see the band live at the leopard Doncaster, ever since that point this album has been a huge part of my life, and connected with real life experiences. I guess from watching this band live helps you understand the meaning and connection that exists between its content and members. A beautiful record, that's truly is timeless.

I heard "Further" in June/July 2003 and noticed that the band were playing King Tuts in Glasgow at the end of July. Went to the gig and was blown away by the music, the awesome guitars and the terrific harmonies. Went out and bought the album the next day and have loved the music ever since. Listening to the band live takes the songs to a different level.

A moving and truly beautiful debut album.

A true fan from Malaysia

I heard Further on XFM Manchester way back when & this was music to my ears. I instantly connected and I thought it was a class track! Read a write up on the album MERCURY in the Manchester Evening News so went out and purchased the album straight away and never looked back since! A true fan who has followed the band from the Night and Day cafe in Manchester down to the Dingwalls London where I got my album signed by Doug and Rob! Glad you have stuck at it, put all your troubles behind you and that you are back to treat your loyal fans again!
